Premier, RS and True North editions are mated to all-wheel drive. Blazer drivers can choose to activate this system or to drive in fuel-saving front-wheel drive. The 2.5-litre engine, available on the base Blazer, comes with front-wheel drive. Using EcoTec engineering, it is rated for 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque.
Chevrolet helps you keep fuel costs down. Intelligent stop-start technology regulates power at red lights. The V6 has active fuel management to help reduce waste when the load is light. V6 fuel economy is rated at 9.0 L/100 km on the highway. The 2.5-litre engine is rated 8.8 L/100 km in highway driving.
